  • Why do you use Turo?

Turo’s fees are reasonable and they handle all insurance, roadside and customer service.

They usually only charge $100 or $200 bond.

Their fees are higher for trips booked same day, so try to book ahead.

  • What about longer hires?

Our Turo listings already have very good discounts for longer hires.

These start at 3+ days, then one week, two weeks, three weeks, and monthly, which gives 45% discount and no Turo fees.

  • How many kms are included?

Turo rentals of 1-6 days include 300kms per day.

From one to four weeks includes 1,750 kilometers per week.

Monthly rentals include 2,700kms per month.

If you go over, Turo will auto-charge you pro rata - this rate will show before and after booking.

  • What about tolls?

Don’t worry about these - we handle them!
You’ll be invoiced back through Turo at cost, ie no markup, about a month after your trip.

  • What about fines?

If you get a parking ticket, please pay it direct to avoid Turo’s $30 handling fee.

Any traffic offences will be nominated into your name, with Turo charging your account $30 per infringement.

Even overseas guest will still need to pay eventually!

  • Do I need to refuel?

Yes! Turo hires don’t include any fuel costs.

Any refills during the trip are at your own expense.

At trip end, please refill to same level as on collection - usually full to full, to avoid Turo’s $10 handling charge if we need to fill.

You’re vehicle’s guidelines page will specify the fuel type clearly - also inside fuel flap.

For petrol cars, please only ever use E98 Premium, otherwise our precision cars will throw an engine light, generating you an expensive mechanic’s bill.
