Driving Tips
Watch this video for quick guide to BMW’s brilliant DCT gearbox.
Use rocker switch beside gearstick to cycle between Comfort, Sport and Sport+ for throttle response, steering sharpness, and suspension stiffness'.
I strongly suggest NOT using Sport+ or switching off traction control - much riskier for minimal extra speed, especially if wet.
Press button 8 on CD for Sports dials - Horsepower and Torque.

Phone Pairing
Switch on your phone’s Bluetooth, and wifi for iPhone.
Head to the BMW iDrive menu pictured above; select Communication, Manage Mobile Devices, Connect New Device.
For iPhone, select Apple CarPlay as device type, or select Bluetooth for Android.
Then follow prompts, doing same in your phones Bluetooth settings.
You’ll need to use your phone for maps as the inbuilt aren’t current.

Punctures & Flat Tyres
If you see Tyre Pressure warning, feel loss of air, or even steering pulling one way. please pull over and call me.
Tyres are NON-runflats. There’s can of tyre goo in boot, allowing slow drive to nearest Bob Jane for smaller punctures.
Larger holes or sidewall damage will need towing as BMW don’t supply a spare. Turo’s (included) towing’s usually pretty quick.

Guidelines
To store your preferred driving position - press Set then 2 side of driver’s seat.
No smoking at all in the car!
Prefer no vaping, but if you must then please all four windows down and sunroof wide open, ie not just tilted - exhale out the window, otherwise leaves a sticky film inside.
No track use or unsealed roads - these violate Turo’s terms of service and they may ban you!
Please don’t ride shirtless and if possible use the supplied clear sunscreen - the white ones stain the seats!
Car’s location and speed is tracked and this data shared with Turo to help them monitor the above usage.

Take lots of photos - close up and wide angle to show the whole scenario. Get details of any other cars involved - number plate essential and ideally driver contact details.
Don’t hesitate to call the police on 000 or your local station if you feel the need.
Submit damage report in the trip in Turo app. I’ll then reviews this, do further images, then suggest best path for repair.
If there’s the slightest chance of mechanical damage, please do not drive, else you risk further damage and extra costs.
